Galactography
radiographic examination of the
lactiferous ducts with injection of contrast medium. Following
antiseptic cleaning if the nipple, the suspected duct is gently
dilated and cannulated. A sialography or dacryocystography cannula
may be used. Contrast medium injection is stopped when the patient
feels pressure. Lateral and craniocaudal radiographs are obtained
