Radiological Report : Percutaneous
Transhepatic Cholangiogram :
Biliary Bile Duct Stent : Initial fine
needle puncture close to the hilum, reveals very dilated tortuous
bile ducts down to a short stricture in the head of the pancreas. A
second guided puncture was made into a right duct and a guide wire
negotiated through the stricture.
A 70mm x 10mm Wallstent was placed from
the common hepatic duct to the duodenum and dilated to 7mm.
There was good immediate drainage so no
external drain was needed. |
