Radiological
Report : Clinical History : Huge pituitary tumour with large left
medial temporal component removed through transphenoidal and
pteryional exploration.
Post-operative
imaging demonstrated residual tumour.
MRI Pituitary
with Gadolinium : A large left medial temporal component remains, 36
x 28 x 36mm. A predominantly left-sided pituitary component remains,
23 x 17mm. The tumour no longer contacts the chiasm which now droops
into a space above the residual pituitary component.
Conclusion:
Considerable residual tumour. |
