Radiological
Report : Clinical History: Carcinoma of breast 1993. Relapse in left
supraclavicular fossa. MRI Breasts :
Imaging: Axial
T2, dynamic THRIVE and parasagittal T1. Comparison made with
previous examinations from the 2nd August 1999 and 22nd September
2003. 1. The implant within the right breast has a very convoluted
contour, there are no internal lines and thus this may be a ?normal?
configuration, but appearances raise the possibility of a partial
collapse.
No evidence of
an extra-capsular component. Presumably there has been a muscular
reconstruction - the tissue in the area of the breast is almost
completely fatty, suggestive that there has been fatty involution of
this pedicle. There is no abnormal enhancement within this
reconstruction to suggest locally recurrent disease in the right
breast. |
