Radiological Report : MRI Spine Whole :
In the cervical spine degenerative
changes are seen between C3 and 7 with shallow disc protrusions and
osteophytes but no cord compression.
In the thoracic spine numerous vertebral
deposits are visible the largest being in D6 where there is partial
collapse of the vertebra. Tumour is shown impinging upon the cord
and causing relative neural canal narrowing. There is also tumour
involvement of the right paravertebral region at this level. Further
deposits are present in D 1,3, 5, 9,10, and12 but none of these
threaten the cord.
There are lower lobe lung deposits
visible.
In the lumbar region there is also
extensive bony metastatic disease maximal at L5 where there is
expansion of the bone posteriorly on the left side causing deformity
of the thecal sac and invasion of the lateral mass on the left side
adjacent to the upper SI joint. Further deposits are seen in S1, the
innominate bone particularly on the right, L4 and L1. IMPRESSION:
Extensive bony metastatic disease with expansile lesions threatening
cord at D6 and impinging upon left side of thecal sac at L5. |
